Position Overview: UI/UX Designer (Project-Based)
Zoic Labs is seeking a talented and imaginative UI/UX Designer to join its digital experience team. This role is ideal for a design professional with a strong eye for visual storytelling, a passion for user-centered design, and the ability to create intuitive, beautiful interfaces across multiple platforms.
As the UI/UX Designer, you will lead the visual development of applications that span web, mobile, desktop, AR, VR, and emerging interactive technologies. Your creativity will be instrumental in creating the initial design concepts, prototypes, and assets that shape the future of Zoic Labs’ digital products. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, leadership, product managers, and clients to merge functional UX with refined visual aesthetics.
This is a project-based position scheduled to run from January 2026 through March 2026, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design world-class digital experiences: Develop engaging, intuitive user interfaces for a wide range of clients and digital platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with leadership, designers, engineers, and product managers to refine concepts and deliver polished designs.
- Transform ideas into reality: Take conceptual wireframes and evolve them into high-fidelity mockups and fully realized visual compositions.
- Create high-quality design assets: Produce UI elements, prototypes, and visual materials that communicate design intentions clearly and effectively.
- Conduct research and usability testing: Identify user pain points, evaluate interface effectiveness, and recommend solutions based on research insights.

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong UI/UX capabilities and possess deep understanding of digital product design. Required skills and software expertise include:

Work & Compensation Details
- Location: Remote within the United States (company based in Los Angeles)
- Relocation: Zoic Labs does not cover relocation costs
- Project Duration: January 2026 – March 2026 (with possible extension)
- Compensation:
- $40/hr – $50/hr DOE
- Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skill level, and job-related factors
