About the Nexodus Internship Program:
Nexodus is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Website Designer Intern to join our Internship Program. This opportunity is perfect for aspiring web developers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in website development, user experience optimization, and digital strategy. As part of this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of websites for Nexodus and its diverse client base. You will work closely with our team of professionals, gaining practical experience and expanding your skills in front-end development, coding, and SEO integration.

Internship Duration & Schedule:
- The internship is a seasonal opportunity with a structured work schedule.
- Website Developer Interns must commit to working 29 hours per week across 3-4 days per week, which may include evenings and weekends as necessary.
- A mandatory in-person development session will be held once a month in Dallas, TX to provide direct mentorship, hands-on learning, and networking opportunities.
- The majority of the work will be conducted remotely, allowing for flexibility while maintaining structured learning and project completion timelines.
Website Developer || Key Responsibilities:
As a Website Developer Intern at Nexodus, you will be responsible for various aspects of web design, user experience enhancement, and website maintenance. Your main tasks will include:
- Website Design & Development: Website Developer Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining websites for Nexodus and its clients, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- User Experience Optimization: Website Developer Work on improving website functionality, enhancing navigation, and ensuring mobile responsiveness across different devices.
- SEO Integration: Support the implementation of search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance website visibility and improve organic traffic.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Help identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues that may affect website performance, ensuring seamless operation.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with internal design, content, and marketing teams to ensure that website elements align with branding and business objectives.
- Content Updates: Assist in managing and updating website content to keep information relevant, engaging, and visually appealing.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct testing to identify bugs, design inconsistencies, and functional improvements, ensuring optimal performance before website launches or updates.

Required Skills & Abilities:

- Previous experience in web design, front-end development, or an internship in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
- A portfolio showcasing previous web design projects (academic, personal, or freelance work) is highly encouraged.
