Video Editor || Responsibilities
As a Video Editor at Voov Media, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and polished video content that aligns with our brand and audience expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Video Editor Editing professional video content, including commercials, promotional videos, and corporate projects.
- Video Editor Producing 50 short-form video edits (ranging from 15 to 60 seconds) per week, derived from YouTube content or raw footage.
- Working with raw footage and audio to create visually appealing, well-structured, and engaging videos.
- Collaborating closely with the creative team to bring concepts to life and ensure a cohesive storytelling approach.
- Applying advanced editing techniques to enhance video quality, including audio mixing and color correction.
- Ensuring all video content meets high production standards, adheres to deadlines, and aligns with brand guidelines.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in video editing.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, with proficiency in additional video editing software considered a plus.
- A strong understanding of audio mixing, color grading, and other post-production techniques.
- The ability to transform long-form video content into short, high-impact clips optimized for various platforms.
- Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication with the team.
- A fast and reliable internet connection (minimum 100mbps) to facilitate smooth collaboration and file transfers.
- The ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative mindset with a strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output for every project.

- Initial Video Call Interview – If your trial video meets our quality standards, we will schedule a video interview to get to know you better and discuss your experience and expertise.
- Paid Video Test – Successful candidates from the initial interview will be given five paid test videos to edit. This stage allows us to evaluate your ability to maintain consistency, efficiency, and adherence to brand guidelines across multiple projects.
- Final Interview – If your performance in the paid test meets our expectations, we will conduct a final interview to discuss the role in greater detail and finalize the hiring process.
