🧠 What You’ll Teach

As a UX/UI Design Instructor, you’ll lead a cohort of adult learners through a 24-week boot camp, helping them gain in-demand skills in user experience and interface design. You’ll teach a modern curriculum that covers key areas such as:

πŸ” User-Centered Research & Strategy

  • Conducting user interviews and usability testing
  • Creating personas, user stories, and journey maps
  • Synthesizing research insights into actionable design strategies

🧱 Visual Design & Prototyping

  • Wireframing and mockups using tools like Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Applying design principles: typography, color theory, composition, iconography
  • Building high-fidelity prototypes and storyboards

πŸ’» UI Development Fundamentals

  • Responsive web design using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
  • Basic interactivity with JavaScript and jQuery
  • Familiarity with design systems and Atomic Design principles

This is a hands-on, project-based course, where you’ll guide students in applying what they learn through team exercises, client projects, and portfolio development.

  • Deliver engaging lectures and live coding sessions based on provided curriculum
  • Foster an interactive learning environment through discussions, Q&A, and demos
  • Offer 1:1 student support, mentorship, and career guidance
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with the academic support team to ensure a smooth learning journey

  • Duration: 24 weeks
  • Class Format: Part-time, evening sessions
  • Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday or Monday/Tuesday/Thursday
  • Time: 5:45 PM – 10:00 PM GMT
  • Classes held remotely via Zoom (future in-person potential for local instructors)

βœ… Minimum Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (any relevant discipline)
  • Strong knowledge of design tools and workflows
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, or similar
  • Experience in web prototyping (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap)
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
