Position Summary
We are on the hunt for a UI/UX Manager who will spearhead our design efforts, ensuring top-notch user experiences across web and mobile platforms. UI/UX Manager Key Responsibilities
As our UI/UX Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the digital user experience for our products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and Mentoring the Design Team
- UI/UX Manager Manage and mentor a team of UI/UX designers, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.

- Set design objectives, track progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of team output.
- Implementing User-Centered Design Processes
- Define and promote a user-centered design philosophy, ensuring each product aligns with user needs and preferences.
- Oversee the design workflow, from concept to final delivery, creating a streamlined process that supports high-quality outputs.
- Conducting Research and Testing
- Lead user research initiatives to gather insights on target audiences, pain points, and behavior patterns.
- Use qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate design choices and improve user satisfaction.
- Synthesize research findings to inform design adjustments and foster data-driven design decisions.
- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams
- UI/UX Manager Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align design goals with business objectives.
- Ensure cohesive communication across departments to deliver a unified product experience.
- Support agile development processes, delivering design assets and specifications that enable efficient product iteration.
- Creating High-Fidelity Prototypes and Design Specifications
- Design and deliver interactive, high-fidelity prototypes that clearly communicate design intentions to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain design systems and specifications for consistency across web and mobile platforms.
- Ensure seamless user experiences across various devices and operating systems.
- Prioritizing Accessibility and WCAG Compliance
- Champion accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) within the design process, ensuring inclusive, accessible experiences for all users.
- UI/UX Manager Regularly review designs and interfaces for accessibility improvements.
- Staying Informed of Industry Trends
- Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and emerging technologies in fintech and UI/UX design.
- Integrate new insights and technologies into design practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Proven Experience in UI/UX Design and Leadership
- At least [5+] years of experience in UI/UX design, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- A portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design and innovative solutions within digital finance, fintech, or related industries.
- Human-Centered Design Expertise
- Solid understanding of human-centered design principles and how to apply them in the fintech space to create impactful and easy-to-use interfaces.
- Strong skills in translating complex user needs into effective, user-friendly digital solutions.
- Proficiency in Design Tools
- Expertise in industry-standard tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and other prototyping software.
- Experience in managing design systems and working with design tools in an agile development environment.
- Agile Development Experience
- Understanding of agile methodologies, with the ability to work in iterative cycles, responding quickly to changes in user and product requirements.
- Communication and Project Management Skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design solutions to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple design projects and team members.
- Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A master’s degree or additional certifications in UX/UI design is a plus.
