About the Role

As a Mid-Level UX/UI Designer at Ecodrive, you’ll be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and impactful user experiences across our suite of digital products. From brainstorming and ideation through to execution and testing, you will be involved in every stage of the design process. Your work will directly influence how businesses and consumers interact with sustainability solutions such as tree planting initiatives and ocean plastic removal programs.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and key stakeholders to ensure our digital experiences are user-centered, visually compelling, and aligned with our mission-driven goals.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work hand-in-hand with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define design requirements and deliver creative, user-centered solutions.
• Create engaging design assets: Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate the product vision and design intent.
• Conduct user research & testing: Use qualitative and quantitative methods to gain insights into user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Apply these findings to refine and optimize designs.
• Enhance our design system: Maintain and evolve our existing design system, ensuring a consistent visual identity and cohesive experience across all digital platforms.
• Iterate quickly and effectively: Incorporate feedback from users, analytics, and internal teams to continuously improve usability and product performance.
• Advocate for the user: Be the voice of the user in every product discussion, ensuring that accessibility, usability, and delightful experiences remain top priorities.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a designer with a strong blend of creativity, technical ability, and user empathy. The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful UX methodologies, intuitive UI design, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with prototyping and collaboration tools.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and a mobile-first design approach.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to translate insights into actionable design improvements.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• A self-motivated, organized, and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic startup environment.
