Social Media Manager – Full-Time Position in Plano, Texas (Hybrid)

Movement Strategy, an award-winning social media agency, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to oversee digital content across various social platforms. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about content strategy, community engagement, and social media trends. As a Social Media Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists. Reporting directly to senior leaders in content and engagement, this position supports key client projects, requiring a hybrid schedule based out of our office in Plano, Texas.

Social Media Manager || Position Overview

In this role, you’ll ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligns with client objectives. Working with cross-functional teams, you will drive the end-to-end publishing process and engagement strategies, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and voice across all social channels.

Social Media Manager Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Coordination and Management
    Social Media Manager Collaborate with Engagement Managers, Content Editors, and Copywriters to create and execute content schedules. Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards. You’ll ensure content meets high-quality standards in style, grammar, and relevance to the brand’s messaging guidelines.
  2. Community Management
    Social Media Manager Engage with audiences across social platforms by fostering meaningful interactions, addressing customer inquiries, and identifying emerging trends. Serve as a liaison between the brand and the community, delivering timely responses and cultivating positive customer relationships.
  3. Platform Management
    Implement and maintain best practices for content publishing across multiple platforms to optimize reach and engagement. Your expertise in digital publishing will help elevate our clients’ presence on social media.
  4. Content Formatting and Enhancement
    Format content for optimal readability, visual appeal, and user experience. Incorporate images, videos, and infographics to enhance engagement and create a compelling online presence.
  5. Compliance and Copyright
    Ensure adherence to copyright and intellectual property regulations. Stay updated on digital publishing standards and legal requirements to maintain compliance.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Partner with Creative, Project Management, and Account teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies. Work closely with other teams to gather essential information and assets needed for content creation and publication.
  7. Creative Writing
    Social Media Manager Develop a deep understanding of the client’s brand voice, adapting it into social content that resonates with audiences.
  8. Quality Control
    Conduct quality checks to ensure error-free content that meets brand standards and achieves high engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-3 years in social media management, particularly in entertainment or brand-driven roles; agency experience is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; familiarity with SEO and content optimization techniques.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in content management systems (e.g., Dash Hudson, Sprout Social), basic image editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express), and collaborative software such as G-Suite, Airtable, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Organizational Abilities: Excellent time management and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality content.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation

The salary range for Social Media Manager role is $65,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. This range is just one part of Movement Strategy’s total compensation package, which may also include bonuses and other incentives.
