Social Media Manager (Remote – United States)
Overview:
We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and strategic Social Media Manager to lead our brand’s online presence across platforms. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to shape the voice of a mission-driven organization, grow community engagement, and manage digital campaigns that drive impact and visibility.
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing content strategy, managing daily operations across all social platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align messaging with our brand goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Manager Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Social Media Manager Plan and publish compelling, original, and high-performing content
- Monitor, engage, and grow community presence across channels
- Track analytics to measure content performance, optimize strategy, and report on KPIs
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging
- Stay ahead of trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes
- Manage paid social campaigns in collaboration with advertising teams
- Develop social calendars aligned with product launches, events, and marketing initiatives
- Respond to comments and DMs in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate manner
- Support influencer marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Manage and grow social media tools and automation systems (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or public figure
- Proven track record of driving engagement and follower growth
- Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices (e.g., short-form video, SEO captions, hashtags)
- Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout)
- Experience managing paid social media campaigns is a plus
- Solid understanding of branding, voice, and storytelling
- Graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with trends in Gen Z and Millennial digital behavior a plus
