Skills and Experience
- 2+ years’ experience with Shopify 2.0 or similar e-commerce platforms
- Someone who takes pride in their code and will always deliver clean, efficient code
- Theme Customisation and template building based on brand requirements, with the key goals of improving user experience and conversion rate
- App Extensions (Including Checkout UI, Theme Extension, Checkout Validation)
- Storefront API/Admin API/App Proxies – proficient in UX technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS, jQuery & JavaScript
- TWIG and liquid experience
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion)
- Strong understanding of Website Performance Optimization and Core Web Vitals
- Interaction with Prototyping and Design tools – Figma
- Experience in dynamic personalisation tools, e.g. Fresh Relevance
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. You will work closely with our in-house team to bring our visions to life. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the success of our projects.
Duties:
– Design and develop visually appealing website that are user-friendly and responsive
– Collaborate with client to understand their goals, requirements, and target audience
– Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to present design concepts
– Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance user experience
– Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO
– Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven design decisions
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Experience:
– Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role
– Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies
– Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices
– Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
– Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques
– Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Skills:
– Proficiency in Python for web development
– Experience using Axure for prototyping
– Strong data analysis skills to drive design decisions
– Knowledge of responsive design principles
– Understanding of interaction design principles.
Job Type: Freelance
Salary: From £23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
