Job Summary: Join Theory SEO as a contract SEO Specialist and work alongside our founder to enhance both client and internal SEO campaigns through a range of activities. This includes keyword research, on-page and technical SEO enhancements, local SEO execution, link building, content strategy development, and SEO analytics.
Your role will focus on applying SEO best practices to deliver measurable improvements in online visibility and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct extensive keyword research to guide content creation. Develop SEO content outlines to assist content teams.
Apply on-page SEO best practices to optimize content for maximum visibility and ranking. Implement technical SEO strategies to improve site speed and visibility. Create and oversee content strategies tailored to client needs. Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles and Bing Places Listings for enhanced local SEO. Utilize Looker Studio to monitor and report on campaign performance. Skills and Qualifications: Ability to work effectively and deliver results with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy. Proven expertise in keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, local SEO, and content strategy. Proficiency with Looker Studio and Google Search Console. Familiarity with SEMRush, WordPress, HTML, Google Analytics, and Bing Webmaster Tools preferred.
Experience Requirements:
At least 2 years of SEO experience, with a portfolio of successful projects.
Employment Type: Contract; estimated commitment of 5-20 hours per week.
Location: Remote
position; candidates should be available during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
