Position Overview

Stantec’s Environmental Services practice seeks a Senior Consultant to help manage our Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) Program. This role requires extensive experience in leading NRDA projects, with a strong academic background and at least 10 years of scientific experience focused on the NRDA process for hazardous waste releases or oil spills. A Master of Science degree in a pertinent natural science is required; a Ph.D. is preferred. (GrabJobs, Stantec Jobs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary, multi-organizational NRDA projects.
  • Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills suitable for both scientific and general audiences to develop, propose, and close on NRDA projects.

  • Provide expert testimony in NRDA or similar judicial proceedings or be qualified to serve as an expert witness.
  • Produce pertinent technical and peer-reviewed scientific publications/reports.

Compensation

Salary ranges vary based on location:(Stantec Jobs)

  • New York City: $120,000 – $179,900
  • Outside NYC: $95,200 – $142,800 (Stantec Jobs)
