As a Senior Paid Social Manager, you’ll take the lead in designing, executing, and optimising high-impact paid social campaigns that deliver measurable results. Your strategic vision, analytical expertise, and deep knowledge of paid platforms like Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, X (Twitter), and Snapchat will be key to driving traffic, engagement, and conversions. You’ll also manage junior team members, mentor colleagues, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including creative, content, and client services.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Paid Social Manager:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and lead end-to-end paid social strategies tailored to client goals, whether it’s lead generation, e-commerce sales, or brand awareness.
- Campaign Execution: Launch, manage, and optimise paid campaigns across major social platforms using tools like Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads, and others.
- Budget Management: Efficiently allocate and monitor media spend to maximise ROI, ensuring campaigns remain within budget while hitting performance KPIs.
- Performance Analysis: Regularly report on campaign performance using data platforms like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and platform-specific tools. Provide insights and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team to develop high-performing ad creatives, including copy, visuals, and video content, ensuring alignment with the campaign’s tone and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior paid social executives, review their work, provide feedback, and support their professional development.
- Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, presenting campaign strategies, results, and recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, platform updates, privacy policies, and best practices. Test new features and beta tools to maintain a competitive edge.
Key Requirements in Senior Paid Social Manager:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in paid social media marketing, preferably in an agency environment.
- Proven track record of managing significant ad budgets and delivering outstanding performance.
- In-depth knowledge of ad platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, and emerging channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and make strategic decisions.
- Experience with campaign reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel/Google Sheets).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail when it comes to ad copy and visual content.
