Role Overview
GE Vernova is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Designer to lead the development and design of Medium and Large Power Transformers, as well as Shunt Reactors. Key Responsibilities
- Product Development: Design and develop Medium and Large Power Transformers and Shunt Reactors.
- Design Reviews: Lead and participate in design reviews, addressing challenges, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure designs adhere to ISO, IEC, IEEE, and other relevant industry standards.
- Analysis: Utilize specialized software to analyze magnetic circuits, electromagnetic fields, and insulation strength to verify electrical adequacy.

- Supplier Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective communication with suppliers to support the production of high-quality components.

Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Extensive experience in transformer development and design.

- Software Proficiency: Skilled in CAD tools and familiar with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
