About the Role
As a Sales Engineer specializing in Security Systems, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth for Johnson Controls’ Aftermarket division within the Building Technology and Solutions segment. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager – HVAC, Controls & Security Systems, your primary focus will be on securing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), retrofit projects, spare parts sales, and other aftermarket opportunities, with a particular emphasis on security system portfolios.(jobs.johnsoncontrols.com)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual sales plans targeting the security systems market, aiming to maximize margins and increase market share.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Johnson Controls’ security solutions to meet and exceed customer expectations, facilitating the closure of new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal pre-sales teams to craft tailored techno-commercial solutions for client projects.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for customers and direct tenders.
- Differentiate Johnson Controls in the marketplace by utilizing your understanding of market dynamics, sales strategies, and product offerings.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers, proactively identifying and addressing their evolving needs.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment through excellent planning and time management skills.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in selling maintenance and service contracts, specifically within the security systems sector in the Qatar region.
- Strong knowledge of physical security systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems, Thermal Camera Systems, License Plate Recognition (LPR), Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, and associated network infrastructures.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the Qatar market.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and a strong team player with a high degree of professionalism.
