Romanian Video Editor Needed for Ongoing Edits & UGC Content
Job Description:
We are seeking a Romanian-fluent Video Editor to join our team and assist with ongoing video edits, animations, and user-generated content (UGC) videos for events. The ideal candidate will have experience in editing Romanian-language content, applying subtitles, and creating engaging motion graphics. You will collaborate closely with our Romanian marketing team to ensure high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and event strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Editing and Enhancing Video Content
- Edit a variety of event highlights, UGC videos, and animations to create professional and engaging content.
- Ensure all videos are in Romanian, with accurate subtitles and on-brand text overlays when necessary.
- Trim footage, apply audio enhancements, and standardize levels to ensure clear sound quality.
- Add product footage (provided by us) where applicable to enhance content effectiveness.
- Create motion graphics and animations as needed to support event-based video projects.
Subtitling and Transcription
- Transcribe video content using Rev.com or another transcription service.
- Work with our Romanian marketing team to quality-check the transcription for accuracy.
- Generate SRT files from the final, approved transcription.
- Implement subtitles using Adobe Premiere, following our brand subtitle preset for consistency.
Collaboration with Romanian Marketing Team
- Communicate regularly via email and video calls with our Romanian marketing team to align on project goals.
- Ensure all video edits reflect the vision, tone, and messaging of the brand and specific events.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Project Scope:
- Initial project: Edit 16 UGC videos to create engaging content optimized for social media and event promotions.
- Ongoing work: Additional event highlight videos, requiring animations and other video support.
- Event support: Work closely with the marketing team to bring their event video vision to life, ensuring all assets are properly utilized.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluent in Romanian (spoken and written) for accurate subtitle and text placements.
- Proven experience in video editing, motion graphics, and content enhancement.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (experience with After Effects is a plus).
- Strong understanding of audio editing, including noise reduction and level balancing.
- Experience with transcription services and creating/editing SRT subtitle files.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and implement provided subtitle presets consistently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with an international team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
