Key Responsibilities of Remote Teaching Assistant

As an Online Teaching Assistant for the CPB course, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • One-on-One Student Mentoring: Provide personalized guidance to students throughout the course, helping them understand complex topics and ensuring they are on track to meet the course objectives.
  • Course Material Guidance: Assist students in navigating through the prescribed course materials, including textbooks, assignments, quizzes, and practical exercises.
  • Student Performance Evaluation: Observe and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback on assignments, quizzes, exams, and practical assignments. Ensure students are meeting the course objectives and provide timely feedback to help them improve.
  • Virtual Classroom Assistance: Participate in live classroom sessions, providing support to the instructor and engaging with students during real-time discussions.
  • Student Consultations: Be available for one-on-one consultations with students during office hours or scheduled appointments. This can be done via AAPC’s virtual platform, email, or phone.
  • Course Familiarization: Attend orientation sessions to become familiar with AAPC’s learning management system, policies, and procedures.
  • Prompt Response to Student Inquiries: Ensure that all student questions are responded to within 48 hours to provide timely support.

Required Qualifications of Remote Teaching Assistant

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
