🔍 Position Overview
- Title: Social Media Manager (Part-Time)
- Location: Remote (U.S.-based)
- Hours: 5–20 hours/week (Flexible)

📌 Responsibilities
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll lead the strategy, execution, and analysis of content across multiple social media platforms for Freeman Capital and our affiliated brands. Your daily focus will be creating an engaging, informative, and consistent experience for our growing digital community.
Key Duties:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that boost brand awareness, build engagement, and drive conversions.
- Plan, write, and schedule creative content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Manage and grow our online communities through thoughtful engagement, prompt responses, and meaningful conversations.
- Monitor conversations and customer sentiment, responding to inquiries and moderating comments professionally.
- Analyze campaign performance, prepare regular reports, and offer actionable insights to improve performance and reach.
- Manage a content calendar and coordinate with internal stakeholders to align messaging across platforms.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest platform updates, tools, trends, and best practices for social media marketing.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, UX, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency in voice, visuals, and timing.
- Suggest and test innovative strategies to increase reach and engagement organically and through paid media.
- Ensure brand visuals (cover photos, avatars, highlights, etc.) are up to date and properly formatted across all platforms.
- Research and implement effective social growth tools, contests, and cross-promotional campaigns.
- Present periodic strategy reports with recommendations based on performance metrics and emerging trends.

- WealthStarters – A platform dedicated to financial literacy for new investors (IG, FB)
✅ Requirements & Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who understands how to create connection and influence through content, with a knack for building communities online.
Must-Have:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Expertise in major social platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic content plans.
- Strong writing, editing, and copywriting skills with a consistent brand voice.
- Experience with social media tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote-first environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting ideas clearly.
Preferred:
- Graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Experience working with mission-driven or financial/educational brands.
- Multicultural or DEI-oriented content strategy experience.
- Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and basic paid social media ad principles.
- Ability to adapt quickly to feedback, priorities, and changing trends.
