💬 About the Role: Live Chat Support Agent

As a Live Chat Support Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring that our customers and students receive fast, helpful, and friendly assistance at every step of their journey with us. Whether it’s answering questions about classes, resolving technical issues, or helping with account inquiries, your main goal will be to deliver a smooth, supportive, and efficient customer experience through our live chat platform.


🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in real time via live chat, responding to inquiries promptly, professionally, and with empathy.
  • Deliver accurate information by utilizing our internal knowledge base, tools, and resources.
  • Resolve customer concerns by providing troubleshooting support and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction standards by meeting or exceeding performance KPIs, including response time, resolution rate, and customer feedback.
  • Record and track interactions by clearly documenting conversations and outcomes in our CRM system.
  • Stay informed by keeping up to date with our product offerings, policies, procedures, and platform updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, such as Tech Support or Academic Advisors, to ensure quick issue resolution.
  • Uphold the brand voice and values of International Fashion Academy by providing helpful, respectful, and positive communication.

✅ Qualifications & Requirements

We’re looking for individuals who are service-oriented, enthusiastic, and capable of thriving in a remote-first environment. Ideal candidates should have the following:

  • Previous experience in customer support, preferably in a live chat or online service role.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English; the ability to express yourself clearly and professionally is essential.
  • Comfort with technology, including using CRM tools, customer service software, and chat platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple conversations at once without losing track of details.
  • High-speed internet connection and a reliable home workspace (laptop or desktop with updated browser and tools).
  • Flexibility in schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
  • Bonus: Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish or French, are a plus.
