About Remote Language Tutor
We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Modern Foreign Language Tutors to join our growing team of online educators. As a Remote Language Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. You may teach one or more of the following languages based on your fluency and expertise: French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin, Arabic, Japanese, or any other in-demand foreign language.

Key Responsibilities of Remote Language Tutor
- Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons that align with students’ goals, whether academic, professional, or personal.
- Provide instruction to learners at different proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced speakers.
- Assess students’ language skills regularly and provide feedback to support their progress.
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment through engaging teaching methods and digital resources.
- Communicate effectively with students and, where applicable, parents or guardians.
- Maintain attendance records and student progress reports.

- Use online platforms (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, etc.) and digital tools to facilitate lessons and assignments.

Requirements in Remote Language Tutor
- Fluency in at least one modern foreign language (native or near-native proficiency).
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience (formal or informal).
- Excellent command of English, especially for non-native speakers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using online teaching tools and virtual classroom platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- A passion for languages, cultures, and education.
Desirable (Not Mandatory)
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent).
- Experience working with UK-based curriculums (GCSE, A-levels, IB, etc.).
- Degree in Languages, Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching online.
- DBS check or willingness to obtain one (especially if working with minors).
