Remote HR Generalist – $65,000/Year | Fully Remote Role

Position: Remote HR Generalist

Location: Must reside in Florida or Tennessee
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $65,000 per year

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation and exit interviews
  • Respond to employment-related inquiries, escalating complex matters to the HR Business Partner (HRBP)
  • Support the HRBP in handling cross-functional needs and inquiries
  • Serve as a backup recruiter, assisting with phone screenings and interview coordination
  • Act as a payroll backup, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
  • Participate in disciplinary meetings and investigations alongside the HRBP
  • Assist in special HR projects focused on employee engagement and culture-building initiatives
  • Maintain and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws
  • Handle administrative HR tasks, including maintaining employee records and documentation
  • Develop HR strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and retention
  • Analyze HR metrics and reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide additional HR support as needed for company-wide initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience (minimum three years in HR or a similar role)
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
  • Prior experience with HRIS systems is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive HR matters with integrity and discretion
  • Ability to travel up to 10 percent of the time if necessary
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution strategies
  • Ability to adapt to changing HR trends and company needs
