Project Manager || Job Overview:

The Project Manager will be directly responsible for supporting federal, tribal, and local government contracts within the healthcare industry, contributing significantly to the success of each project. You will act as a vital point of contact for various stakeholders, including medical staffing firms, prime contractors, subcontractors, contract employees, and clients, including federal agencies. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely completion of all contract deliverables.

You will be responsible for handling day-to-day project operations, ensuring smooth coordination and managing performance to address issues as they arise. This includes identifying risks, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring that project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with the project’s requirements.

Project Manager || Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Lifecycle Management: Project Manager will manage the entire lifecycle of contracts and projects from inception to completion. You will be accountable for achieving project results and meeting specified deadlines. This involves working closely with both internal and external teams to ensure all project aspects are aligned with goals and objectives.
  2. Day-to-Day Operations: The Project Manager will coordinate and control all daily operations of assigned projects. This includes addressing performance issues, managing project schedules, and resolving any challenges that arise. Your role will also involve close monitoring to ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  3. External Communication: As the Project Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for external sources such as medical staffing firms, prime contractors, subcontractors, contract employees, and clients, including the federal government. Your role will involve obtaining and communicating necessary information in a timely manner to facilitate efficient project execution.
  4. Timecard and Invoice Management: You will oversee and approve timecards and invoices related to projects. Accuracy in this process is essential to ensure all submissions are compliant with project and company policies.
  1. Revenue Cycle Support: Project Manager Collaborating with other departments, you will provide critical information to support the revenue cycle. This ensures that billing and other financial processes are aligned with project requirements and deadlines.
  2. Staff Credentialing and Onboarding: A key part of your role will be working directly with candidates, employees, and clients to ensure that the appropriate staff are credentialed and onboarded for specific contracts and projects. This requires attention to detail and close coordination to ensure compliance with all necessary qualifications.
  3. Tracking and Reporting: You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on the project’s performance, including key metrics and KPIs. Regular reporting will keep stakeholders informed of progress and provide necessary insights for decision-making.
  4. Documentation and Record Keeping: Ensuring that all project documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant is a critical component of this position. You will maintain a system for organizing and storing relevant documents, including contracts, reports, and communication records.
  5. Client Database Maintenance: You will maintain and update a client database, which will be crucial for managing relationships, tracking opportunities, and reporting on potential clients.
  6. General Support to Leadership: You will also provide general administrative and reporting support to the executive leadership team. This includes assisting with tasks, preparing presentations, and helping with additional reporting requirements as requested.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Communications, Marketing, Business, or Project Management. Relevant project management experience is required, and prior direct experience in federal contract operations, specifically within the healthcare sector, is highly preferred. A strong preference will be given to individuals with experience in managing locum and professional services contracts.

Candidates should have excellent writing and editorial skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, correspondence, and other documents. Experience working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments is essential. Additionally, candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience with workflow platforms such as SharePoint is a plus. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms such as GovWin or Bidspeed is highly desirable.
