This fully remote role, open to professionals based in the UK, offers a competitive salary range of £3,300 to £4,500 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
About Product Analyst
As a Product Analyst focused on the USA market, you will be responsible for analyzing key metrics, developing dashboards, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights that will directly impact product development, user engagement, and business outcomes. You will work closely with product managers, marketing teams, UX designers, and developers to ensure our products meet user needs and business goals.
Your work will involve digging deep into user data, segmenting audiences, analyzing feature usage, and helping prioritize product features based on real-world impact. Your insights will help optimize our products to better serve customers across the United States, enhancing satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities of Product Analyst
- Conduct in-depth data analysis of product performance, feature adoption, user retention, and engagement metrics in the USA market.
- Collaborate with product managers to define success metrics and KPIs for new product features and updates.
- Monitor and report on product usage trends and customer behaviors using tools such as SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Tableau, or similar.
- Build dashboards and visualizations to support ongoing product analysis and decision-making.
- Identify gaps in user journeys, propose enhancements, and evaluate the performance of product experiments (A/B tests).
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Support the development of data-driven strategies for product improvements, pricing models, and customer segmentation.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, concise, and impactful ways.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the US product landscape.
Required Qualifications in Product Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a product analyst, business analyst, or data analyst – preferably with a focus on US-based products or markets.
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment across multiple time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with product teams targeting American consumers or enterprises.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Previous work in SaaS, e-commerce, fintech, or a tech startup environment.
- Understanding of UX metrics and customer journey mapping.

A Day in the Life
Your day might start with a stand-up call with the product and development team to align on daily goals. Then, you’ll dig into SQL queries to uncover insights on a recently launched feature in the US market. After preparing a dashboard in Tableau, you’ll present your findings to the product manager and suggest an improvement in user onboarding based on recent trends. The afternoon could involve analyzing A/B test results or exploring customer feedback to identify areas of improvement. Throughout, you’ll collaborate with team members across departments, sharing insights and shaping the product roadmap.
