About the Role: Lead UI/UX Designer (Part-Time)

As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you’ll be a key contributor to the design and user experience strategy for various complex, data-intensive products and platforms. You’ll work across multiple projects, including those in AI, Supply Chain Management, and Data Management, helping us translate intricate data and processes into clear, meaningful, and user-friendly interfaces.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and other designers—to ensure that every design decision aligns with user needs and business goals.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for multiple projects from concept to final hand-off, ensuring a cohesive and user-centered approach throughout.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that effectively communicate design intent and enhance usability.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Transform complex data and workflows into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces—especially for enterprise-level applications and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and QA) to ensure seamless design implementation.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers as needed.
  • Maintain consistency in visual design and user experience standards across projects.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on data-intensive platforms or enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture, especially in complex systems such as data analytics platforms or AI-based tools.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into elegant and user-friendly designs.
  • Experience conducting user interviews, A/B testing, and usability evaluations.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote-first environment.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working in supply chain, logistics, or healthtech sectors.
  • Familiarity with front-end development basics (HTML/CSS/JS) to communicate effectively with developers.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices.
