Key Responsibilities of Occupational Therapist:

  • Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments related to functional capacity, rehabilitation, and occupational therapy interventions.
  • Review medical records, therapy notes, and other relevant documentation to form professional opinions.
  • Prepare detailed, objective reports and expert opinions in compliance with legal requirements.

Required Skills and Experience of Occupational Therapist:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with at least 5–10 years of clinical experience.
  • Prior experience in forensic occupational therapy, medico-legal assessments, or expert witness testimony preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation processes, functional assessments, and disability evaluations.
  • Exceptional analytical, report-writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle complex case details.
  • Experience using electronic medical records (EMR), Microsoft Office, and legal documentation tools.
