Job Summary
The PRN Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is a licensed, certified advanced practice provider responsible for delivering direct patient care in the NICU. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and obtain detailed medical histories of neonates.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to determine patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and lumbar punctures as required.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Educate and counsel families on patient care plans, medications, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a focus on Neonatology.

- Experience: Minimum of one year of NICU experience preferred.
