National Account Manager About the Role As ADVANZ PHARMA continues to strengthen its position as the partner of choice for specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines. We have an exciting opportunity for an National Account Manager to work remotely in the UK. The ideal candidate will be happy to cover the whole of the UK, and travel to our London office once or twice a month. Main purpose of role:National Account Manager To deliver sales, margin and forecast accuracy for agreed wholesaler accounts. Prepare, present and execute business plan to deliver revenue and EBITDA targets to support in the achievement of agreed targets Drive growth in sales and profit in agreed accounts to achieve and exceed agreed target whilst developing and maintaining impactful commercial relationships with key stakeholders across all commercial pillars of the UK commercial organisation.National Account Manager To be responsible for the successful management of a specific group of ADVANZ Pharma Wholesale and Retail accounts that supports the achievement of short and medium-term goals. In all interactions, external and internal, effectively adhere and promote the highest ethical standards and behaviors, including compliance with all applicable laws, policies and regulations aligned to ABPI. Key responsibilities: Sales Performance: •National Account Manager Deliver agreed Net Sales and Margin in line with expectations for key customers • Develop and implement joint working, sales & channel plans to attain individual target – monthly, quarterly and yearly sales & profit targets • Continuously compare sales performance to goals and take appropriate corrective action when necessary • Proactively identify and address opportunities with key customers to drive market share. • Develop cadence of accurate business performance forecasting with mindset of gap-closing. Commercial strategy • Responsible for any commercial deals for defined customers, including price management and customer incentives •National Account Manager Monitor and feedback on market and competitor activity as required, including accurate sales forecasting • Engage with Portfolio to ensure impactful launch plans for New Product Launches Customer relationships • Build a strong relationship with buyers, middle & senior stakeholders within focus customers across the retail market • Ensure joint business plans for focus customers are in place and maintained ‘live’ • National Account Manager Plan top to top customer meetings with focus customers. Leading on preparation, meeting and follow up • Ensure appropriate sales and rebate contracts are developed, aligned and implemented in a timely manner and measured monthly About You We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference to patients’ lives. For this role, you will also have the following: Knowledge, Skills & Experience: •National Account Manager Educated to Degree Level (BSc or BA) • ABPI Qualified Experience & Competences: • Must have relevant experience in the promotion of Generic medicines • Understanding of strategy – Portfolio, Product and customers strategies that’s supports both ADVANZ and the customer. • Be accountable and manage effective communication with stakeholders. Mapping contact matrices to ensure effective communication is maintained whilst understanding the impact that communication can have. • Proven track record of achieving ambitious targets in a competitive environment. • A proven track record of developing and maintaining long lasting relationships that support the business. • An understanding of the ABPI code of practice • Knowledge & Skills: • Strong understanding of UK Pharmaceutical Market (Supply Chain/Reimbursement/Regulatory) • Strong in time management • Effective negotiation skills • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • System Experience (Power BI, SAP) • Understanding of financial reporting • Understanding of the demand planning • Project management Personal Qualities: • Can fit well into an already strong team and is trustworthy • High level of emotional intelligence and integrity • Assertive • Highly motivated to learn and take ownership of personal development • Must be a good team player while being able to work autonomously • Ability to multi-task and meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a • demanding environment • Demonstrates sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and be able to produce high-quality work • Exceptional customer service skills • Ability to work effectively across a matrix organization • Ability to work independently and prioritize with minimal daily instruction • Ability to think strategically in order to improve current processes • Ability to work in a pro-active manner • Ability to demonstrate a genuine interest and curiosity for all aspects of the business and consequently prioritize and input accordingly • A strong sense of personal accountability is essential • A willingness to operate in a fast paced environment with considerable ambiguity • A sense of energy and fun is certainly desirable • Hybrid working • Continually curious with a desire and willingness to learn, research and develop new knowledge and skills • Ability to work on own initiative with strong prioritisation and organisational skills • High level of attention to detail Why ADVANZ PHARMA?
