Key Responsibilities as a Marketing Specialist

  • Organic Social Campaigns: Collaborate with internal and external partners to plan, scope, and execute organic social media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter.
  • Content Publishing & Community Management: Manage daily content publishing across all active organic channels and support customer care with proactive community management. This includes posting on weekends and outside business hours as needed.
  • User-Generated Content (UGC) Sourcing: Identify and source high-quality UGC for marketing campaigns, social media, website, and email.
  • Performance Reporting & Analytics: Deliver monthly social media reporting dashboards and campaign recaps, analyzing key performance metrics, trends, competitive insights, and opportunities for growth.
  • Social Media Trends & Best Practices: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices while monitoring competitors and identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with internal creative, brand, and technology teams to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies. Partner with external media agencies for content amplification.
  • Content Strategy & Outreach: Lead ideation, strategy, and promotion of content assets, including blog posts, white papers, videos, and contests to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Influencer Marketing & Partnerships: Collaborate with the influencer marketing manager to identify, recruit, and manage influencers for content partnerships, ensuring successful content promotion.
  • Campaign Monitoring & Optimization: Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, analyzing performance data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Senior Leadership Presentations: Regularly present key business metrics, marketing performance insights, and progress-to-goals to senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For a Marketing Specialist

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in content marketing, social media, or digital marketing, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a focus on tracking campaign impact and optimizing for performance.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to write compelling marketing copy, as well as communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to Detail & Project Management: Experience managing high-volume, simultaneous projects at different stages of execution while maintaining quality.
  • Proficiency in Social Media Tools: Familiarity with tools like Curalate, Sprout, Khoros, Sprinklr, Dash Hudson, Facebook Ads Manager, and other social media publishing and analytics platforms.
  • Content Creation Skills: Experience writing copy and basic editing of social media assets (cropping/editing images, videos, and creating Instagram Stories).
  • Startup Mindset: A positive, hands-on, and nimble approach to working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Multi-tasking Abilities: Comfort with managing multiple campaigns in a fast-moving environment.
  • Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Prior experience in the fashion or luxury industry is a plus.
  • Creative Skills (Preferred): Experience in photography and video editing with familiarity in tools like Photoshop is a bonus.
