Role Overview of Marketing Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy across various channels. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both digital and traditional marketing who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
The Marketing Manager will work closely with the senior leadership team, sales, product, and creative departments to design and deliver marketing initiatives that align with business goals. You will be accountable for driving brand awareness, generating leads, optimizing marketing performance, and enhancing customer engagement.
This position requires excellent project management skills, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
Key Responsibilities of Marketing Manager
- Marketing Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that supports business objectives and enhances brand positioning in the market.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a growing team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Campaign Management: Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment across all channels including digital, email, social media, paid ads, PR, and offline initiatives.
- Content Creation: Oversee the development of compelling content across various formats (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, video, social media) to engage target audiences.
- Digital Marketing: Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, display advertising, website performance, analytics, and automation tools.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and brand identity across all communication touchpoints. Monitor and maintain brand reputation.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Use insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the annual marketing budget. Track ROI of marketing initiatives and reallocate resources as needed for maximum effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment between marketing activities and product, sales, and customer service functions.
- Event Coordination: Plan and manage company participation in industry events, trade shows, webinars, and sponsorships.
Required Qualifications of Marketing Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing B2B and/or B2C marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Business Suite, and email automation systems (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
- Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar platforms to track performance and optimize campaigns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in content creation and storytelling.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- A passion for creativity and innovation with a data-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills and Experience of Marketing Manager
- Previous experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
- Knowledge of marketing compliance and data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Exposure to international or multi-market marketing campaigns.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams or in matrixed organizations.
- Certifications in Google Ads, HubSpot, or digital marketing courses are advantageous.
