Your Impact as a Marketing Manager

You’ll be the strategic and creative force behind PTO Today’s marketing efforts. From crafting powerful messaging to executing integrated campaigns, your work will increase awareness, engagement, and lead generation across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Execute Campaigns
    Build and manage annual marketing plans for PTO Today’s suite of products and services. Plan and launch campaigns that align with organizational goals, optimize audience engagement, and drive measurable results.
  • Create High-Impact Content
    Write and edit compelling blog posts, emails, social media content, video scripts, event promotions, and more. Your content should educate, inspire, and convert.
  • Drive Digital & Email Marketing
    Lead targeted digital and email marketing campaigns. Use audience segmentation, personalized messaging, and performance insights to refine and scale efforts.
  • Analyze & Optimize
    Track KPIs and campaign performance using Google Analytics and other reporting tools. Use data to inform decisions and improve campaign effectiveness over time.
  • Lead Event Promotion
    Support both in-person (5–6 per year) and virtual events. This includes contributing to the marketing strategy, building promotional materials, and occasionally attending events to represent the brand.
  • Manage Web Content
    Oversee marketing-related content in our CMS (Joomla) and ensure pages are current, relevant, and SEO-optimized.
  • Co-Manage Social Channels
    Support the brand’s social strategy, including managing our private Facebook group for PTO leaders and engaging regularly with our audience.

Who We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing management, ideally with B2B or product marketing

Skills & Strengths:

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills; ability to write for various audiences and platforms
  • Experience with Google Analytics and email marketing tools
  • Comfortable working across digital platforms and social media
  • Project management skills; experience with Asana or similar tools a plus
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for testing, optimizing, and learning
  • Bonus: Experience with Joomla, education sector knowledge, or familiarity with PTO/PTA culture
