Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experience to join our Higher Education Marketing Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new logo acquisition and customer growth pipeline. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Higher Education Marketing, you will work alongside a diverse team, including specialists in events, account-based marketing (ABM), customer marketing, digital media, and content marketing. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with sales, customer success, finance, operations, and other key departments within Instructure to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.

To be successful in this role, you must be a strategic thinker, a data-driven marketer, and an innovative problem solver. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to execute demand generation campaigns, measure their impact, and optimize them for the highest ROI. This role requires a blend of creativity, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth: You will lead demand generation efforts for the Higher Education segment, ensuring a steady pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Campaign Leadership: Manage the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, acquisition, and customer retention.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, ABM, events, and digital teams to develop data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Vendor Management: Select and oversee third-party vendors and platforms for marketing activities, including webinars and content syndication.
  • Content & Creative Development: Write engaging ad copy, email campaigns, and marketing materials; design visuals in Canva or collaborate with in-house creatives.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with the necessary training, content, and tools to enhance engagement with potential customers.
  • Event Marketing Integration: Ensure marketing campaigns align with event strategies to maximize lead generation and engagement.
  • Budget Management: Track and optimize marketing spend, ensuring alignment with business objectives and pipeline goals.
  • Strategic Adjustments: Continuously refine marketing strategies based on data-driven insights and performance metrics.

Success Metrics:

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Lead Generation & Conversion Rates: Increase in the volume and quality of inbound leads.
  • Sales Pipeline Growth: Contribution to the sales pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Retention & Customer Growth: Impact on customer lifetime value and upselling opportunities.
  • Marketing ROI: Ability to optimize campaigns for cost-effectiveness and maximum return.
  • Engagement & Brand Awareness: Growth in brand presence across key marketing channels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of B2B demand generation experience in SaaS or technology marketing.
  • Campaign Development: Proven experience in executing successful digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, SEM, and paid digital initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Content Creation: Strong writing skills with the ability to develop engaging marketing materials.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM tools, and analytics software.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to develop unique marketing strategies that resonate with the Higher Education audience.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to test new strategies and adjust based on performance insights.
  • Passion for Education & Technology: Understanding of the EdTech space is highly desirable.
