About the Role of Language Tutoring
As a Language Tutoring and Training Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance, training, and development of our team of language tutors. Your primary role will be to ensure that our tutors provide high-quality, engaging, and effective language learning sessions that align with Rosetta Stone’s proven methodology.
Key Responsibilities of Language Tutoring
- Tutor Training & Development: Design and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing tutors to ensure high-quality instruction.
- Team Leadership: Manage scheduling, provide guidance, and approve tutor time logs.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct evaluations and provide feedback to tutors to enhance their teaching effectiveness.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor tutoring sessions, extract performance data, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Onboarding & Certification: Oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new tutors, ensuring they meet Rosetta Stone’s high standards.
- Curriculum Development: Assist in developing new tutoring lessons and materials to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Language Tutoring Team and other departments to ensure seamless program execution.
- Support & Coaching: Provide ongoing mentorship and resources to tutors, ensuring they are equipped to engage learners effectively.
What We’re Looking For Language Tutoring
To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in language education, training, and leadership. We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in Language Instruction: 5+ years of experience in language teaching or tutoring.
- Passionate About Education: A deep understanding of language learning methodologies and best practices.
- Skilled in Training & Development: Experience in developing instructional programs and training materials.
- A Natural Leader: Management experience in leading a team of educators or tutors.
- Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to track performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements.
- Fluent in Multiple Languages (Preferred): The ability to communicate in more than one language is a plus.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills for coaching and mentoring.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online learning platforms and video conferencing tools.
- Flexible & Adaptable: Able to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
