Graphic Designer
The Nectar Creative department collaborates with our brand partners to create exceptional design creative for Amazon, direct-to-consumer websites, and marketing and advertising assets. The graphic designer works closely with Nectar copywriters, photographers, videographers, and account managers to develop holistic, compelling e-commerce creative & creative strategies that drive sales and build brand recognition. You will also collaborate with Nectar account managers to ensure positive experiences for our clients, as well as contribute to creative audits and other sales enablement materials. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be highly organized, adaptable, self-sufficient, and diplomatic.
Successful candidates for a Nectar Graphic Designer role have an exceptional portfolio that displays not just world class design skills, but flawless UX, clear storytelling and explanations of creative decisionmaking, and passion for even the most mundane project. You must be able to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines, as well as coordinate with other team members and stakeholders. You will enjoy working in this role if you are proactive, as you will have the freedom to take charge of your own work and bring your creative vision to life. This is a full-time remote position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design eye-catching and on-brand Amazon listing graphics, A+, and brand store layouts for clients.
- Design effective, engaging, direct-to-consumer e-commerce websites, primarily on Shopify.
- Create and designed sales and marketing assets for Nectar’s B2B marketing efforts and website.
- Contribute to sales audits and creative strategy presentations to clients.
- Maintain brand guidelines across all projects.
- Request feedback and revise projects as necessary.
- Ensure client assets are completed and delivered on schedule.
- Generate unique ideas to portray concepts and promote products.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand and execute on assignments.
- Meet and collaborate with clients to create unique brand design guidelines and to develop a design plan for their e-commerce assets.
- Advise best practices, process improvements, and optimizations throughout design projects in collaboration with the account teams and clients.
- Collaborate with other copywriters, photographers, videographers, and fellow designers to develop new approaches for creating more expressive assets for the clients.
- Provide feedback and guidance to your peers on the creative team.
- Stay on top of design trends and utilize modern concepts to wow clients/partners.
- Engage with different forms of media, including but not limited to, photography, videography, renders, etc.
- Utilize programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, along with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
- A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional quality, attention to detail, and passion for extraordinary design.
- Expertise with common design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop) and Figma.
- Experience working in Amazon Seller and Vendor Central, and in Shopify.
- Demonstrated skill in UX design for e-commerce.
- Experience working in project management platforms like monday.com, and with digital asset management tools and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to clearly and professionally communicate with clients.
- Ability to work independently while following overall management strategy.
- Tech savvy (proficient in Google Workspace applications).
- Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
