Please note this role is initially a fixed-term contract until the end of 2024, with the potential for extension or permanent employment. The role is hybrid, requiring regular trips to the London office.
About The Role
Reporting to the Director of Global Event Marketing, the Global Event Marketing Manager at Bullhorn, United Kingdom, will be responsible for managing events that reinforce our brand, engage new prospects, strengthen relationships with current customers, and enable the sales team to advance key accounts. Specifically, this person will own our Engage London and European roadshow program, as well as third-party conferences and smaller bespoke events. You will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to execute flawless events that support Bullhorn’s reputation as the market leader in staffing and recruiting software. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is exceptionally detail-oriented, strategic, analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
A typical day will include…
- Managing Bullhorn’s participation in various industry trade shows, events, and associations
- Owning, managing, and executing Bullhorn’s Engage London and European roadshow
- Developing and implementing event marketing strategies aligned with company goals and target audience preferences
- Creating interactive and engaging experiences for event attendees
- Overseeing the budget for trade shows, customer events, and associations, and tracking the ROI analysis
- Developing creative and strategic campaigns around all event programs
- Working cross-functionally, especially with sales personnel and Bullhorn executives, to ensure events are well attended and flawlessly executed
- Managing a wide range of vendors with strong existing vendor relationships that we could bring on
- Aggressively negotiating rates and contracts with vendors
- Agency and in-house event experience preferred
- Ability to go into the London office at least twice per month
- International experience required
This role is a fit for you if…
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing or Communications
- 5-7 years of experience in event marketing
- Event planning experience is required; event planning experience within the software industry is preferred
- Extensive experience using Salesforce, Marketo, Wrike, Airtable, Google Suite products, and Splash
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of marketing terms and concepts, keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
- Ability to thrive as a self-starter and work in a team setting
- Previous experience maintaining vendor relationships
