We have an exciting position available for an eCommerce Sales Specialist to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Powys, Wales. As an e-Commerce Sales Specialist, you will create and implement strategies that make online transactions possible. You will organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans. You will also respond to enquiries via phone, email or website, create and manage quotes, and nurture and follow up any sales leads. Key responsibilities…. • Developing, monitoring, writing and updating product and website content • Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance. • Taking ownership of optimising the customer journey • Planning and managing video content production • Managing wider marketing functions including print and digital collateral • Executing on-page optimisation • Work closely with different teams (estimating team, sales team, operations team) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms. • Respond to enquiries (phone, email or via website) in a timely manner • Create and manage quotes • Updating the CRM system with new contact details • Processing new orders from online sales and issuing paperwork to the warehouse team, taking card payments as required • Nurture and follow up sales leads/quotes and follow them through to order completion • Ensuring any client issues are met and resolved effectively, recording and updating accordingly Requirements: • A marketing or business-related degree is advantageous • Previous hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals. • Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability best practices. • Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies and can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions. • Familiarity with web design, user experience and a keen eye to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. • Customer service – Establishes and maintains effective relationships with internal and/or external customers. Meets commitments, responds promptly to customer needs and uses feedback to improve service. Benefits: • Salary of £25,000 – £30,000 • Hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm (Mon-Fri) • Can be flexible to work from home.
