Digital Marketing Manager – Remote

Are you ready to use your creativity and marketing expertise to make a difference? As the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in getting thousands of books and vital resources into the hands of kids in need! You’ll take new partnerships and initiatives from concept to large-scale, multi-channel distribution. Your primary responsibility will be to develop marketing plans and create engaging digital assets, such as social media content and email communications, to promote exciting programs that support educators and their students.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are a creative marketer with a collaborative spirit and strong project management skills. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with design, content creation, and analyzing the success of multi-channel outreach campaigns. Your effective communication skills will help you connect with both internal teams and external partners. In this position, you’ll work cross-functionally to shape campaign designs that prioritize the needs of educators and enhance user experience.

As part of the Network Engagement department, you’ll be at the heart of the organization’s key initiatives, supporting the mission by developing strategies to grow the educator network, engage members, foster community, and distribute resources to children.

Digital Marketing Manager || Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will be expected to perform the following essential duties:

Support Program Design & Resource Creation

Guide program structure and communication campaigns to ensure they are user-friendly and impactful for educators serving low-income families. This includes developing and marketing free resources and tools that support professionals. Your tasks will include:

Identifying success metrics to ensure campaigns meet partner goals and provide valuable experiences for members.

Collaborating with partnership managers to guide programs from ideation through to impact reporting.

Multi-Channel Marketing

We need a creative communicator with strong design and marketing skills. You will work closely with the Senior Director of Member Engagement to create and implement comprehensive marketing plans that increase awareness and usage of products and resources. Key tasks include:

Creating content and campaign assets for multi-channel campaigns (e.g., email, digital ads, SMS) using tools like Photoshop and Canva.

Developing communication strategies to promote new initiatives through paid advertising, content marketing, SMS campaigns, and more.

Monitoring campaign performance, identifying trends, and making necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

Proven experience in planning and creating design assets for successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.

A genuine passion for the mission, evident in your enthusiasm.

Excellent copywriting and communication skills with keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in graphic design and visual creativity.

Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships.

Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.

Strategic thinker who can analyze data to develop innovative ideas while also being hands-on with execution.

Education And Experience

4+ years of experience in communications or digital marketing is required.

Experience managing performance-driven paid social media campaigns (Meta and/or Google Ads) is essential.

Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Canva is required.

Familiarity with email platforms like Pardot (Salesforce), Marketing Cloud, or Constant Contact is preferred.

Experience in managing client or partner relationships is a plus.
