About Data Entry
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency across American Express business processes. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities of Data Entry
- Accurately input and verify a wide range of data from digital or scanned documents into our proprietary systems.
- Maintain data integrity by performing regular audits and quality checks.
- Work with multiple departments to ensure timely and correct data entry.
- Safeguard confidential company and customer information at all times.
- Maintain productivity goals and meet daily/weekly performance targets.
- Report inconsistencies, system issues, or discrepancies to your team lead.
- Participate in training sessions and adhere to company data handling policies.

- Detail-Oriented: You have an exceptional eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable using basic data software (MS Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM systems).

Preferred Qualifications in Data Entry
- Previous data entry or administrative experience (preferred but not required).
- Proficient in typing with accuracy and speed (minimum 50 WPM recommended).
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, data management tools, or enterprise systems is a plus.
- Comfortable with remote communication tools like Slack, Zoom, or MS Teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
- This is a part-time role, averaging 15–25 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule – work mornings, evenings, or weekends, as long as deadlines are met.
- Must be available for periodic virtual meetings in UK time.
