About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Content Writer/Editor to join our client’s dynamic team in the hospitality industry. This is a full-time, remote opportunity supporting their Scottsdale, Arizona-based marketing team. The assignment runs through December 2025, and while remote, you must be available to work during Mountain Standard Time (MST) business hours.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a content professional with a strong editorial eye, an understanding of SEO, and a passion for creating engaging, culturally relevant content. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the voice and digital presence of a major brand in the travel and hospitality space.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Content Writer/Editor, you’ll work closely with internal teams to produce, refine, and optimize digital content that aligns with the brand’s tone, quality, and messaging. Your responsibilities will include:
- Editing and Enhancing Content:
Review and polish existing content for clarity, grammar, accuracy, and consistency in tone. Ensure all materials reflect the brand’s voice and editorial standards. - Updating Destination Content:
Focus on content updates for travel destinations in both U.S. and Latin American markets, ensuring cultural accuracy and relevance for each region. - SEO and UX Optimization:
Apply SEO best practices and user experience (UX) principles to enhance visibility and engagement across digital channels. - Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work alongside marketing, product, and editorial teams to ensure all digital content aligns with current offerings, brand strategy, and marketing goals. - Maintaining Consistency:
Uphold a cohesive tone, style, and formatting across all content platforms. Ensure materials remain consistent with brand guidelines. - Workflow Management:
Track, organize, and manage content updates through a SharePoint-based workflow system, maintaining accountability and version control. - Light Research:
Conduct research as needed to ensure content accuracy, particularly for travel, destination, or cultural references. - Editorial Support:
Assist with broader editorial efforts, including proofreading, formatting, content quality assurance (QA), and meeting digital accessibility standards.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a skilled communicator who understands the balance between editorial precision and digital strategy. You’re someone who enjoys refining content just as much as creating it — and thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in content writing and/or editing for digital platforms
- Solid understanding of SEO, content strategy, and digital publishing best practices
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS)
(Adobe Experience Manager experience is a plus) - Exceptional grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience working with content tailored to Latin American audiences
- Familiarity with accessibility standards for digital content (WCAG, inclusive language, etc.)
- Previous work in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors
