This role requires an exceptional blend of writing expertise, journalistic flair, and environmental knowledge, ensuring that the content you produce not only informs but also engages.
Content Writer primary responsibilities will include:
- Research and Investigation: Conduct in-depth research and investigations into climate change issues, global environmental policies, and sustainability practices. You will stay updated on the latest developments in the field, ensuring that all content produced is timely, relevant, and data-driven.
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality written materials such as slipsheets, blogs, talking points, social media posts, and press releases. The content will be tailored to specific audiences, including the UN, country-level government agencies, and other influential stakeholders. Craft engaging narratives that simplify complex climate change information for diverse audiences.
- Storytelling Techniques: Implement strong storytelling techniques to convey complex, scientific, or policy-related information in a way that captivates readers. The goal is to transform technical data into accessible, compelling stories that resonate with both policymakers and the broader public.
