Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Careers Consultant in Imperial College London, you will focus on providing specialized support in sectors and industries our students aim to work in. You will be part of a sector team, offering generalist career support to students across various sectors and providing expertise in one of the key sectors such as Consulting, Finance, Technology, Energy, Sustainability & Social Impact, FMCG, or Healthcare. Sector teams provide insights into recruitment trends, pathways, and labor market information within these industries. You will also enhance the team’s knowledge in your sector by updating resources and materials.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience and passion for career development.
  • Background in providing careers advice in a University or Business School setting or significant recruitment experience, especially in the graduate and/or experienced hire areas.
  • A qualification (or equivalent experience) in careers advising, coaching, or mentoring.
  • Willingness to frequently interact with students online and in person, occasionally outside of normal UK working hours, including evenings.
