Key Responsibilities of Advancement Manager

  • Fundraising & Development: Identify, develop, and manage funding opportunities from grants, donors, sponsorships, and partnerships. Lead the grant-writing process and oversee donor relations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute advancement strategies to enhance revenue streams and organizational sustainability. Align fundraising efforts with the organization’s long-term goals.
  • Partnership Management: Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, philanthropists, and nonprofit organizations, to drive collaborative initiatives.
  • Marketing & Communications: Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand visibility, ensuring messaging aligns with fundraising and development goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Organize donor engagement activities, networking events, and strategic meetings to strengthen relationships with key supporters.
  • Data & Reporting: Track and analyze fundraising performance metrics, preparing reports for leadership and stakeholders to assess progress and opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills of Advancement Manager

  • Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, business development, or advancement management.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in grant writing and proposal development.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-profile stakeholders and corporate partners.
