Employment Type – Volunteer
We are looking for a graphic design and website developer to join our family team working from home for a couple of hours building our website and create a digital presence for our organisation. AfriLife M.I.N.D. is a not-for-profit social enterprise that aims to promote the self-health champion within through wholistic means, that expresses itself through 3 key main areas crucial to our service which are:
1. nutrition – healthy eating
2. movement – yoga, dance and soft martial arts
3. modalities – meditation, breathing techniques, and other therapies
Responsibilities:
With expertise on building and expanding on an existing website
experience with WordPress is essential
experience with Elementor and certain themes
Be able to instruct others so that they become proficient in all competencies
Search and implement free images from free stock websites
Photoshop and editoring knowledge
have knowledge on plugins and widgets
Digital Design knowledge
To help out with Social Media graphics and management
Contribute to staff meetings.
Skills and attributes:
Basic knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
To be able to design graphic for various medium e.g. flyers
An understanding of development approaches and methods
Knowledge of mobile applications, computer operating systems and web browsers
Functional knowledge and coding experience would be an advantage
Organized, focused and able to prioritize.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Show professionalism at all levels and in all environments.

The volunteering role requires mainly commitment, fortitude and a desire to help our organisation to grow. We are looking for someone who can offer a couple hours from Monday – Sunday. The most important quality we require is passion for what we, AfriLife M.I.N.D. do! This role is UNPAID
