This Data Analyst – Highly Skilled role presents a remarkable opportunity to thrive at the nexus of ad tech, cross-platform media, and data science. As a Data Analyst – Highly Skilled, you will play a pivotal role, collaborating closely with the product team, ad sales, research, and industry vendors to spearhead measurement innovation across Client portfolios.
Key Activities:
- Oversee the strategic research and evaluation of third-party measurement (3PM) currency providers, guiding the analysis of measurement data to refine and enhance transaction models at a strategic level.
- Direct comprehensive data investigations, leveraging a sophisticated blend of 3PM data from diverse sources and use cases. This includes advanced log-level analysis employing the Client’s proprietary first-party data alongside third-party data from the Audience Insights Hub, to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Forge strong, strategic collaborations with product, IT, and client strategy teams to shape and enhance the Client’s advertising offerings, driving innovative go-to-market and sales strategies with a focus on long-term growth and market leadership.
- Employ and interpret advanced research tools such as Nielsen, Kantar, iSpot, and VideoAmp for in-depth media consumption analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and advertising campaign performance evaluation. Lead the presentation of critical research findings to senior executive leadership, influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
- Champion the development and implementation of new business models, exploring alternative currencies, and laying the groundwork for a unified media currency that bridges digital and linear platforms, positioning Client at the forefront of industry innovation.
- Lead, inspire, and cultivate the professional development of your team, providing mentorship, career guidance, and opportunities for growth. Act as a key stakeholder in managing comprehensive test and learn projects, overseeing timelines, agendas, deliverables, analysis, and findings, to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the client Measurement & Impact teams on high-level measurement projects and learning initiatives, driving the company’s strategic objectives forward through insightful analysis and data-driven decision-making.
Core Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (master’s or higher) from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing Analytics, or a related discipline. A PhD in a relevant field is considered a distinct advantage.
- A minimum of four plus years of progressive, post-graduate experience in data analytics, media research, or data science, with a strong preference for leadership roles within ad tech companies, digital entertainment industries, advertising agencies, media research providers, or data analytics firms.
- Expertise in AWS, SQL (advanced level), Spark, R, or Python, with comprehensive knowledge of relational databases, big data retrieval methods, and the ability to leverage these skills in a strategic, organizational context.
- A deep understanding of the broadcast/cable, Connected TV/OTT, and digital media landscapes, with the ability to anticipate trends and apply this knowledge to strategic decision-making.
- Advanced statistical analysis skills, with a profound grasp of statistical concepts, methods, and practices essential for high-level data interpretation and decision-making.
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in the ad-tech measurement space, including expertise in data management platforms and cloud databases (GCP, Snowflake, etc.), with a strong emphasis on strategic application and innovation in these areas.

- Advanced knowledge of machine learning techniques and their strategic applications in the media industry, with a proven track record of leveraging these tools to drive significant business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of cross-platform measurement methodologies across digital, linear, and streaming platforms, including CTV/OTT and addressable TV, showcasing a capability to navigate and integrate diverse data sources for comprehensive insights.
- Expertise in advanced analytics methodologies such as Multi-Touch Attribution and Media Mix Modeling, with a history of applying these approaches to optimize media spend and impact.
- Exceptional adaptability, comfortable with navigating ambiguity, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Skilled in aligning the interests of multiple stakeholders towards common goals.
- Proficiency in data processing and extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, demonstrating the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights for decision-making at the highest levels.
