The successful candidate can be based anywhere within the Southeast of England. The role will be a mix of home, office, and site-based work.

What is the Role?
Due to expansion, we’re seeking a Project Manager for Smart Buildings to join our ever-growing team. The successful individual will be driven and technically confident to engineer and deliver exciting projects in multiple sectors, such as commercial offices, healthcare, and datacentres. You’ll be scheduling, planning, forecasting, and managing all technical activities from project conception to completion. Your self-motivation and hunger for success will be key to delivering excellent results in your business area. If this sounds appealing, then read on.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Providing guidance to contractors at the assigned level of responsibility
- Providing full financial statistics on all projects assigned to you
- Understanding and being aware of contract conditions and requirements
- Obtaining, generating, and agreeing on programmes of works, monitoring, and recording project progress and deliveries in accordance with the project programme
- Preparing content and quality of the required descriptions, drawings, and schedules
- Ensuring all project hardware is correctly implemented and installed as specified or required
- Obtaining customer written approvals, planning, coordinating, and supervising all project labour requirements
- Ensuring files are maintained in accordance with the Quality procedures and implementing any required corrective action
What do I need?
- You’ll be working in an ever-changing environment and as such will be adaptable and flexible in your approach. Excellent communication skills and report writing are essential to maintain strong relationships with all team members and customers.
- Our Customers are the life and blood of our business; as such, you’ll demonstrate a professional manner and be dedicated to meeting customer expectations, including demonstrating a strong set of values to match those of the Energy Solutions Operations Team – Safety, Honesty, Integrity, and Customer focus.
- You’ll have extensive experience operating as either a Project Manager or Project Engineer within the BMS & Controls industries with technical understanding of Siemens, Distech, or Tridium systems.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, delivering against objectives and to budget. The role may also suit a project engineer with a proven track record wanting to take the next step in their career development.
