Role Description
This is a temporary remote role for a Freelance Graphic Designer (Book Layout). We are a start-up and are gaining traction with our customized books and are looking for a Graphic Designer to be available as projects are booked. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing book page layouts (copy + images) and will collaborate with our team to bring our clients’ stories to life through visually appealing designs. We would love to see samples of work and/or can have you recreate a short sample project as part of the interview process.
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Graphic Design or related field (or commensurate design experience)
- Experience in book layout design necessary
- Proficiency in typography and creating visually appealing designs
- Attention to detail and ability to create cohesive designs
- Strong creativity and artistic ability
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
