Position Overview

As a Remote Personal Stylist & Image Consultant, you will work directly with our client to design and implement a comprehensive wardrobe of 50+ pieces, along with 5 pairs of shoes, that perfectly fit her body type, lifestyle, and evolving style preferences.

This is not just about picking clothes — it’s about creating an identity, telling a story through fashion, and equipping the client with tools and knowledge that will serve her for years to come. Through personalized consultations, virtual try-on sessions, and thoughtful clothing curation, you will help her uncover her unique aesthetic while boosting her confidence in every outfit she wears.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will combine creativity, fashion expertise, and client coaching. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting an in-depth style consultation to understand the client’s lifestyle, daily routines, personality, and fashion goals.
• Guiding the client through a style discovery process, helping her identify a unique aesthetic that aligns with her values and aspirations.
• Curating clothing selections tailored to body type, proportions, and lifestyle needs while incorporating emerging trends and timeless staples.
• Hosting virtual try-on sessions via Zoom to evaluate fit, styling, and overall appearance, offering real-time guidance and feedback.
• Sourcing and purchasing wardrobe pieces from diverse brands across various price ranges to meet budget requirements.
• Managing returns and exchanges for any items that don’t meet the desired look or fit.
• Building a cohesive final wardrobe of 50+ pieces and 5 shoes that complement each other for effortless outfit creation.
• Providing styling education, including how to shop independently, mix-and-match outfits, and accessorize with confidence.

Required Qualifications

We are seeking a stylist with proven expertise and a natural ability to connect with clients who may be new to fashion or seeking greater self-expression through clothing. Essential qualifications include:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a personal stylist, image consultant, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of body shapes, proportions, and fit.
• An excellent eye for color coordination, style balance, and trend forecasting.
• Experience working with clients who are exploring fashion for the first time or building confidence.
• Proficiency in virtual consultations and online shopping platforms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with patience and empathy.
• Ability to work with various budget levels while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Familiarity with diverse fashion brands across multiple price ranges.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following will be considered a plus:

• Certification in Image Consulting or Personal Styling.
• Prior experience in wardrobe-building projects or capsule wardrobe curation.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion choices.
• Familiarity with online styling platforms, fashion apps, and digital mood boards.
• A strong portfolio showcasing client transformations and styling projects.

Project Details

• Goal: Create a cohesive wardrobe of 50+ well-fitting pieces plus 5 versatile shoes.
• Format: 100% remote with regular Zoom consultations and virtual try-on sessions.
• Timeline: Flexible, designed around the client’s comfort and availability.
• Approach: Collaborative, educational, and confidence-building.

Compensation

This role is project-based, with a negotiable rate between $20–$55 per hour, depending on experience and portfolio strength. In addition:

• A separate clothing budget will be provided.
• Bonus potential is available based on client satisfaction and overall project success.
