U.S. Full Stack Web Developer

Job Opportunity: Full-Stack Developer (TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, Terraform) – Remote

Eliassen Group is currently seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, CSS, Terraform, and AWS Services to join our team in supporting a dynamic customer case management system. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a driven professional looking to work in a collaborative and agile environment focused on delivering scalable, secure, and user-friendly web applications.

This role requires a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance, due to federal security clearance regulations.


Position Overview

As a Full-Stack Developer at Eliassen Group, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications in support of our client’s case management solutions. Working in agile teams, you will collaborate with designers, product owners, and other developers to translate requirements into efficient and effective software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include both front-end and back-end development, integration of APIs, infrastructure-as-code deployment, and monitoring cloud resources. You’ll ensure the application’s performance, scalability, and usability, using best practices and modern DevOps tooling.

  • 100% Remote

Pay Rate

  • $40/hr to $50/hr (W2)
  • Compensation will reflect experience, education, skills, and location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in an agile development team to build and enhance web applications.
  • Contribute to both front-end and back-end codebases with a focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Utilize TypeScript, Node.js, and React.js to develop clean, modern web interfaces and RESTful backend services.
  • Integrate and consume APIs, especially within AWS cloud environments.
  • Write unit and integration tests, debug issues, and maintain code quality.
  • Define and manage infrastructure using Terraform and work closely with DevOps teams for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Ensure security, performance, and usability standards are met.
  • Assist in requirement gathering, technical analysis, and estimating work.
  • Monitor application performance and collaborate on issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should meet some or all of the following experience areas:

Front-End Development

  • Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React.js for building responsive, interactive UI components.
  • Strong grasp of HTML and CSS/SASS for layout and styling.
  • Experience with testing libraries like Jest and React Testing Library.

Back-End & DevOps

  • Deep knowledge of Node.js and the npm ecosystem.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Working experience with Python, especially for scripting and test automation using tools like pytest.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Cloud & Infrastructure

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Services, including but not limited to:
    • AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, CloudWatch, and CloudFront.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and experience using Terraform for provisioning AWS resources.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

Bonus Skills

  • SharePoint knowledge for document and list management within Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of additional cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate is required.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in web development with core technologies: TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Git, and React.js.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS Services, including the use of Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.
  • Prior experience working in agile development teams on large-scale web applications.

Clearance Requirements

  • Active Public Trust Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required to meet federal contract guidelines.
