About Junior Web Developer

We are a UK-based digital solutions company focused on delivering exceptional web and software products for clients ranging from startups to global enterprises. Our team consists of designers, developers, marketers, and strategists who work collaboratively to solve complex problems and build meaningful digital experiences.

At our core, we believe in empowering individuals to take ownership of their work, nurturing talent through mentorship, and staying ahead of the tech curve. Whether it’s a client website, internal dashboard, or e-commerce platform, we build solutions that are responsive, accessible, and performance-optimized.

The Role

As a Junior Web Developer, you’ll be involved in the entire web development lifecycle – from planning and building front-end components to supporting back-end functionalities. You’ll collaborate closely with senior developers, designers, and project managers to create responsive websites and web applications.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work on real projects, and build a strong foundation in modern web development practices. We welcome remote, hybrid, or in-office applicants based in the UK.

Responsibilities of Junior Web Developer

  • Assist in designing and developing user-friendly websites and applications
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
  • Support integration with back-end services (APIs, databases)
  • Participate in code reviews and development meetings
  • Troubleshoot issues, bugs, and performance problems
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive designs
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development
  • Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) for team collaboration

What We’re Looking For Junior Web Developer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual who loves to code and is excited to grow in the world of web development. You don’t need to know everything—we’ll help you learn—but you should be familiar with the basics and willing to get your hands dirty.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Some experience with a front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue, or similar)
  • Understanding of Git/GitHub for version control
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean code
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn

Nice-to-Have (but not required):

  • Exposure to back-end technologies (Node.js, Express, PHP, or Python)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and accessibility
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL)

Qualifications in Junior Web Developer

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is a plus but not required
  • Bootcamp graduates, self-taught developers, or those with a portfolio of personal projects are encouraged to apply

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive hourly rate: £20–£30 per hour, based on experience
  • Flexible working: Work remotely, from home, or in our UK office
  • Mentorship: Guidance from senior developers and structured growth plans
  • Career development: Opportunity to move into mid-level roles within 12–18 months
  • Work-life balance: No crazy hours—just consistent, rewarding work
  • Team culture: Supportive environment with team check-ins, casual Slack chats, and optional social meetups

Why Join Us?

  • We’re a small but mighty team that believes in building people up
  • You’ll be part of projects that challenge you and help you grow
  • Your input will matter—we value feedback from all team members
  • We invest in your development through learning resources, peer support, and project-based learning
  • You’ll be contributing to real-world digital products used by thousands
