Creative Marketing/Partnerships Manager (Remote, £75k–£95k)

At Colossal, we are not just building a company—we are cultivating a mission with global significance. As a trailblazer in the fields of biotechnology, conservation, and de-extinction science, Colossal is redefining how humans interact with and protect the natural world. Our core purpose is to restore balance to Earth’s ecosystems by advancing genetic rescue and biological innovation.
In this transformative chapter, we are looking for a Creative Marketing/Partnerships Manager (Acquisition) to join our mission-driven team. This is a strategic and executional role that focuses on both growth marketing and partnership development. It is ideal for a seasoned creative marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of brand storytelling, audience expansion, and ecosystem-building. This position is remote and open to candidates based in the USA, UK, or Europe.
This role requires a combination of creativity, strategic vision, hands-on execution, and relationship management. You will be tasked with designing and delivering integrated campaigns that attract new audiences while building sustainable partnerships that align with Colossal’s purpose and values.
Role Overview of creative marketing
The Creative Marketing/Partnerships Manager (Acquisition) will play a central role in driving Colossal’s audience growth and brand presence. Working closely with the leadership team, the content division, and the partnerships group, this role will focus on the development and implementation of marketing initiatives that drive user acquisition and deepen brand loyalty.
In parallel, you will identify and nurture strategic partnerships that extend our reach and reinforce our mission. These partnerships may include consumer brands, media platforms, nonprofit organizations, and cultural institutions.
This is an opportunity for someone who understands the power of storytelling and can use it to drive measurable engagement. If you are both data-driven and imaginative, if you believe that brand partnerships can create long-term value, and if you thrive in purpose-led organizations, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities of creative marketing
- Develop and execute creative acquisition campaigns that build awareness, drive user sign-ups, and strengthen community engagement across multiple digital and offline platforms.
- Conceptualize and implement growth marketing strategies including paid advertising, email acquisition, influencer collaborations, and content syndication.
- Create compelling campaign narratives that reflect Colossal’s voice, values, and science-backed mission. These may include multimedia assets, digital storytelling, and short-form brand content.
- Collaborate with the internal creative and content teams to develop audience-first materials that are scalable and adaptable for various touchpoints including website, social, email, and events.
- Identify, pitch, and negotiate high-impact partnerships with brands, institutions, and media outlets that align with Colossal’s conservation and innovation goals.
- Coordinate co-branded campaign development and partner asset creation. Track and report on partnership performance, optimizing for engagement and shared value.
- Conduct market and audience research to understand acquisition trends, audience preferences, and campaign performance benchmarks. Use insights to inform future strategy.
- Work with product and analytics teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and attribution models. Use these insights to iteratively refine strategy and content.
- Serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings as needed, effectively communicating Colossal’s unique value proposition.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be a confident storyteller, a strategic thinker, and a data-informed marketer. You have a proven record of delivering creative campaigns and building brand momentum in dynamic environments. You understand how to inspire and acquire audiences through purpose, relevance, and innovation.
Qualifications and Experience in creative marketing
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing or partnerships role, ideally within a growth-stage company, creative agency, nonprofit, or science-led organization.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and executing acquisition campaigns that have driven measurable business results.
- Strong creative sensibility with the ability to lead concept development for integrated marketing and storytelling campaigns.
- Proven experience initiating and managing high-value brand or media partnerships from ideation to execution.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams including science, content, design, PR, and digital product teams.
- A deep interest in technology, environmental sustainability, or social impact. Experience in biotech or conservation is a plus but not required.
