Key Responsibilities of Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving new business and expanding our footprint across the UK and Europe. You’ll be expected to:

  • Own and manage a full-cycle sales process from outbound prospecting to closing.
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities in targeted industries.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls to understand client pain points and objectives.
  • Develop customized proposals and conduct product demos tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders.
  • Accurately forecast and report sales activity using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets consistently.
  • Work with marketing to refine messaging and improve lead conversion.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and client meetings.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who is passionate about tech, consultative selling, and client success. To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, cloud solutions, or enterprise technology.
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools.
  • A strategic and analytical approach to pipeline management.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • A team-first mindset and willingness to collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications in Account Executive

  • Experience selling to clients in the UK and EU markets.
  • Familiarity with the tech landscape or previous roles in SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, or IT consulting.
  • Exposure to solution-based or consultative selling methodologies (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Multilingual skills (e.g., French, German, or Spanish) are a plus but not required.
