Senior Media Buyer Overview:
As a Senior Media Buyer, you’ll be at the forefront of planning, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more. You will collaborate closely with our strategy, creative, and analytics teams to ensure our media buying efforts deliver maximum ROI for our clients. Your strategic mindset, performance-driven focus, and love for data will be vital in helping our clients grow.

This is a remote position available to candidates currently residing in the United Kingdom. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of campaigns from ideation to execution.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Media Buyer:

  • Plan, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Google, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth audience research and market analysis to develop targeting strategies.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily, adjusting bids, budgets, and creatives to meet KPIs.
  • Perform A/B testing on ad creatives, copy, landing pages, and targeting strategies.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to guide ad design and messaging.
  • Analyze data, prepare performance reports, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest media buying trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
  • Manage budgets ranging from £10K to £500K per month with a focus on scalability and profitability.
  • Communicate campaign strategies and results effectively to clients and internal teams.
  • Train and mentor junior media buyers, sharing knowledge and elevating team performance.

Who You Are as a Senior Media Buyer:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in digital media buying with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  • You’re highly proficient in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and similar platforms.
  • You have a deep understanding of performance marketing, eCommerce, funnels, customer journeys, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Data is your best friend—you enjoy analyzing numbers, finding patterns, and making data-backed decisions.
  • You’re comfortable managing large budgets and scaling ad accounts efficiently.
  • You’re a self-starter who takes initiative, meets deadlines, and loves solving problems.
  • You’re confident in client communication and can explain complex data in simple terms.
  • You’re a team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Prior agency experience is a big plus.

Preferred Qualifications in Senior Media Buyer:

  • Experience using tracking and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Segment, or Mixpanel.
  • Familiarity with ad attribution platforms like Triple Whale, Hyros, or Northbeam.
  • Strong understanding of first-party data usage and privacy changes (iOS 14.5+, GA4).
  • Knowledge of CRO, landing page design, or email marketing is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
